PERSONAL DENTIST
The following list is a guide of the general areas your personal dentist operates in.
General dentists are legally allowed to perform procedures in any of the following disciplines, however, each dentist normally operates in their own comfort level, after which the help of a specialist is sought.
It is normally at the discretion of your personal dentist to determine whether a specialist is needed or not, and it is not usually recommended to attempt to see a specialist without first being referred by your personal dentist.
